Safe Swim Arlington is Dedicated to Teaching Individuals to Swim Confidently and Safely

Children's Lessons

This is what we do best!  Serving the community for more than 30 years, we provide high-quality swim lessons for children year-round in at Nolan Catholic High School, UT Arlington, and the East Library and Recreation Center.  Year-round, our lessons meet at UTA on Saturdays for 30 minutes, for 4 weeks.  At East and Nolan Catholic, lessons meet during the weekday evenings and Saturday mornings.  All of our lessons are $75.  Our instructor to student ratio for all classes is 1:4-6.  Private lessons are also available at our UTA location on Saturday mornings.

Learn to Swim

In our year-round evening programs, we teach your children how to swim.  For ages 6 and over, we offer both our Level 1 and Level 2 curriculums to get your child a great start in swimming.  We stress water safety and basic swimming skills in a progressive format.  Most of our Level 3 graduates are ready to try out with our pre-competitive groups on the swim team.

Adult Swim Lessons

On Saturday mornings at our UTA pool, we offer adult learn-to-swim classes.  These are beginner to intermediate classes for those 18 and over who want to learn how to swim.  We also offer a US Masters Swimming program.

Swim Team

Our swim team is year-round. Most of our new swimmers start in our Pre-Competitive Group which practices 2 days per week for 40 minutes, where they are introduced to competitive strokes, turns, and starts. When the swimmer is proficient at freestyle and backstroke, we promote them to our Bronze group. At this level, the swimmers are ready to begin competing!
